Wearobe is a wardrobe app: you photograph clothes you own, and the app helps you catalogue them, build outfits and decide what to buy. This page describes what the app collects, why, and who else sees it.
What we collect
Your account. An email address, used to sign you in — either a magic link or through Sign in with Apple or Google, which share your name and email with us but nothing else.
Photos of your clothes. Every garment you add starts as a photo you took or picked, plus whatever the app determines about it — category, colour, fabric, brand if visible, and similar. Photos you import in bulk from a camera roll or a social export work the same way.
A photo of you, if you choose to add one. The Profile screen can hold a full-length photo, used only to draw outfits on a likeness of you rather than a generic model. This is the most sensitive thing the app stores, and it is used for nothing except that one feature — removing it deletes the photo, not just the reference to it.
What you do in the app. Outfits you build, items you mark as worn, favourites, and search or filter history are not separately tracked beyond what is needed to show your own wardrobe back to you.
Shared links, if you make one. Sharing a garment, outfit or wardrobe creates a private link with its own token. Anyone holding that link can view it, report it to us, and, if you allow it, react or leave a comment — including people with no Wearobe account. A viewer without an account is identified only by a random id stored in their own browser, not by anything that identifies them personally. A report stores that id, the reason they picked, and an optional note; it is visible to us, not to the person who created the link.
Who else sees it
Google Gemini analyses the photos you add, to identify and describe the garments in them — that is how the app fills in colour, category and the rest without you typing it. This account uses Gemini’s paid API tier: Google does not use your photos or Gemini’s responses to train its models. A human reviewer may occasionally read a request only to investigate a suspected policy violation, and any request selected for that is first disconnected from your account and API project before a reviewer sees it.
Cloudflare Workers AI and ModelScope draw the pictures the app generates — a clean catalogue image of a garment, a rendered outfit, or you wearing one. These calls take a cropped reference image of the garment (and, for a personal try-on render, your own photo) as input; they do not receive your account details.
Sentry receives error reports if something in the app breaks, so it can be fixed — a stack trace, the device and OS version, and which account hit it. A report filed on a shared link is also sent here, with the reason and the link token, so we can look into it. Session recording, screenshots and view hierarchies are switched off everywhere in the app; nothing walks the screen you were looking at when the error happened.
Supabase hosts the database and file storage everything above lives in. Every table is scoped so an account can only ever read its own rows, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app remembering to check — and photos are kept in a private storage bucket, never a public one, shown to you through links that expire.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Deleting your account
Profile → Delete account removes everything: every photo you have uploaded — including the one of you, if you added it — is deleted first, then the account and every row that belongs to it (garments, outfits, wear history, share links) is removed. Children
Wearobe is not directed at children, and knowingly collects nothing from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what the app collects or who it is shared with changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
